Anyone know if the MIDI translation functions of EZ player Pro are now a part of Superior Drummer 3?  It used to ship with SD2, and the MIDI browser in SD3 looks like it might be able to do the same thing.

I am a fan of EZ Player Pro but SD3 and EZD2 are both way ahead of EZPP do more than EZPP. I spent a lot of time building my EZPP midi library and love how easy it is to add a cymbal crash or snare hit how easy it is using midi from Addictive drums and Toontrack in the same song with their "Map Wraps". It still has some good features and I would be very excited about a new EZ Player Pro and would buy it right away, but until then EZD2 or SD3 will get most of my attention. One good thing is my midi library's I built are what gets used in the other 2 so no waste of my effort.

Much appreciated.  SD3 is a monster from the looks (and sounds of it) and I may jump at the SD2 upgrade if it goes on sale.  For now, I'm pretty heavily invested in BFD3 so I'll probably just plonk the cash (card) down and pick up EZPP.

I don't consider this GAS - its functional software and not another flavor of something else.  At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Also SD 3.1 included many more mapping options than was in 3.0. it would be nice if EZPP was updated with what's in 3.1.

I'm also heavily invested in BFD but SD 3.1 really is a monster in what it does. In my opinion Toontrack has pulled ahead of everyone by a wide margin. Hopefully the competition spurs more innovation.
