I purchased the Oxygen and could immediately use ACT and set up sliders for Dimension and Zeta. I have a midi track whose output is Dimension Pro. No problem recording midi notes for playback. If I want to go back and add some more parts to the midi track, hitting a key triggers the sound, but the data is not recorded into the PRV view. Very strange, because if I record in real time the info is captured. In finale (2006) I can use the controller to enter parts without any problem using speedy entry. Any idea of what may be wrong?

You need to enter the notes manually in to the PRV unless you want to use Step mode (which is like an older drum machine).

That sounds unintuitive. You set up note durations in pro and then use mouse as the input device instead of a controller as an alternate input device. On the keyboard on the left side of the pro window, each key pressed on controller shows up on the piano kybd on left in prv window and the pitch is triggered. It works that way in finale. I'll try the step sequencer. I forgot to try it in x3 staff view. Hate to do parts in finale and save as midi 1 file. It plays fine in windows media player, but x3 has a hard time with the file. (Could be my fault with trk assignments). Thanks for the quick response though I was hoping for a different answer
