Since I have begun installing my Waves plugins using the Waves Centeral installer a have never had a problem.

Windows 10 here, Platinum 2017-05 and I've had numerous problems with Waves Central.

This is an interesting thread.  I have Win 10 Pro and never had a problem using Waves Central. Like John I use the default locations.

Also use Default locations.

Took me hours yesterday to get SSL E Channel installed.  It was nuts.  Everything fine now, but a wasted evening.

Also - not related to the problem I encountered.  But I bought and installed another plug earlier this month.  How lame is it that I had to install yet another version of Waves Center to get another plug?  Pretty Lame I'd say.

Probably not to much unlike the Sonar Command Center which I don't use.

Add to that the ability to only truly install on one machine at at time is quite annoying.

Sir Les
I was just buying some new Wave plug ins from waves last night. ver 9.5

Purchase bot said when the deed was done , if having Command centre installed, to use that to update all, and install the new, and activation codes would be sent to me via email.

Well that did not get anything done as said, as command centre would not let me log in, although I was already logged into waves because of the purchase .

So after a few attempts of every password and such in my book tossed at it...(knowing i already logged in with X)...I removed Command centre,.. went to the website and got the latest command centre, installed, and all worked out as such.

It removes all wave Plugins, installs the new ones bought to activate, and then a reboot for me was required.

Then I went back into the command centre and installed all of my older plugins  again via command centre, clicking

''installation"" (Middle button) all my plug ins showed up in a window, after log in, of all my plugs in my account showing a arrow on the right side was present to click...And each one was clicked to download and install through the command centre..(not sure if all plug ins were updated, as I did not buy the plans to do so after 2014)

.

Have not tested any yet...But seems the newer command centre is working better for me...on Mac Pro.

Use this method if you ever have trouble installing updates to Waves Plugins:

"Navigate to Your User Name/Appdata/Roaming/
and delete the folder Waves Audio
Then run the Waves installation again.."

I had all kinds of crap in that folder (old versions) which was preventing the Plugin scanner from scanning the Waveshell properly.

My Waves Central show my plugins as version 9.2
Sonar and the VST folder shows Waveshell as version 9.91

My guess is that the shell is not the same thing as the plugins themselves.
But who knows.
