That would be expected. A PC preset only loads the modules referenced in the preset. In the case of the QuadCurve presets, the QuadCurve is the only module in the preset. For more information read the article in the "Music+Tech" issue 2017.05.

Okay I found it thanks...but, when I loaded a preset for the quadeq, it dropped all other modules I had loaded! WTF? Anyone else?

Well, I was at a loss how to load these because I was looking for a way to load directly in the QC - I know, I'm an idiot.  I've never loaded ProChannel presets so I finally realized that is where you load it which is why it replaces whatever you have loaded in the PC as scook stated.

The eZine shows how to copy over one of these presets from one channel to another. So, what you can do is just insert a blank track next to the channel that contains your own preset, load up a QC preset in the empty track and Ctl+Click the graph and drag to the track with your preset.  Then you can re-save your preset with the new QC setting.

Hmm . .  this wasn't very easy to find Cakewalk !

If it wasn't for scook's post #8 (thank's again scook) I don't think I ever would have found these Quad Curve Presets . . . they did not automatically show up in my account, and I couldn't see them anywhere in Command Center . . . I had to "Redeem" these from scook's link before I could download them. Didn't see instructions on page 43 of the new Ezine thing either ?

I had to go in the 30 year page and go to the 30 quad curve presets explanation. When I clicked to learn more I saw a redeem button underneith the quad eq. Then the presets were put into my account. I didn't get them with the upgrade.

The CC download didn't work for me either but I was able to get them by going to "My Products" and downloading the file from there.

Just installed the Presets through the Command Center without any issues.  Occasionally there appears to be a 24 hour disconnect from the announcement of an update to being able to install it.  Always works for me, either from my Account downloads or through the CC within a short period of time.
