I havent looked at these yet, but i rarely (if ever) use presets for this type of thing...

But i must say that if the eq presets are only loaded from the command that liads the entire PC, It will be even less useful. Its time the PC git updated so that individyal modules can have presets, eh?

Note that I read the EQ presets to be separate, I can't seem to make this work. Ctrl-click-drag of the mini window in the console only copy's the presets from one track to another.... What am I doing wrong?

Also, I do not see the presets listed either in CC ro in my products listing. Is it grouped with something? Named unusual?

Thanks...

Keni, go here    http://www.cakewalk.com/30th

and under the picture of the presets is a button named "click to redeem"

After you click the button the presets show up in the CCC as a separate download from Sonar.

I installed everything yesterday.  I found the redeem button today, clicked and started the CCC.  The presets were there with a red button.

Hope this helps.

OK, the presets installed fine from the CCC today, after updating everything else.

But when following the instructions in Craig's article on page 43 of the new eZine, I was stuck forever on step #2 of his simple 3-step method!  https://issuu.com/cakewal...ocs/tech_music_2017.05

I have to double click on "Untitled" in the channel strip before I get the folder icons shown to load or save a preset with.  Sometimes that doesn't even work, and I have to try several times.  Is this normal?

[EDIT]  Well alrighty, then ... I figured out what was interfering with the "Load Preset" icon.  I had the transport running.  Stoped it and this method works fine now.  Wonder why having Sonar playing back interferes with this?

So this was a nice way to force everyone to read the new Tech+Music e-zine, which looks really nice. Sneaky!

Once I read that, I was able to load the presets. Very cool, Cakewalk. Happy Anniversary!

All the info about the QCEQ and how to copy settings is in the documentation but the new e-zine does a nice summary. The copy process predates the QCEQ. It started with the per-track EQ and I believe was introduced in SONAR 7.

Just downloaded the QuadCurve presets from my products page(it didn't show up in my cc)...Saved it to my desktop and tried to run the exe but I received a message that I didn't have the appropriate permission to access the file... Tried to run again as an admin... no luck... any ideas?

So it is only available via the PC strip load. Useless for me.

Successful install via command center.  I expect the issue has been resolved.

Thats a neat little gift for us, really.  I use ProCh and QuadCurve a lot, the presets are splendid.  :-)
