I have my Platinum PRV window undocked ( on a seperate screen )
I have my Platinum Track View on another screen

Problem is :
When i am on another program/s window making minor edits > Rewire or VE Pro 5 ( which platinum is hosting ),
then if i  go directly to the platinum track view/ Main  window and select a audio on a track and hit DEL on my keyboard ( which should delete the audio - it does not  ) Instead it deletes the last thing in the program i came from .

When this is happening i  cant access the drop down menus > File-Edit-Views-Insert up the top left on the Main Plat Window either !
The only way to refocus the Plat Main Win is to click the PRV window first which then allows the File /Edit menu drop down !

Why is Platinum main track view window not getting full focus back when my mouse is comes back  from another program !

Any suggestion

I don't know why this would happen. Sorry, I don't have a solution. I have notice several people have checked this out. They must not have a solution either.

Does it do anything different if you use Alt-Tab to change windows and then click on it?

If the PRV is undocked or any vst effects or instruments are open/ undocked when I click on them they regain focus perfectly .

If I open rewire or ad VEPRO 5 as soon as I do editing in there GUI's and then come back to platinum main window / track view it will not regain full focus -
easy way to test this is to put the PRV undocked window behind the rewire / ve pro window , then do editing in rewire or Ve pro, then go and click on anything in the track view / main window the result should be

PRV tab should appear infront of the rewire or ve pro window - it does not
- at this point mouse clicking file - edit - view -etc -etc drop down menu is impossible
- selecting a audio clip in track view and pressing delete on keyboard will delete something in rewire / ve pro
- you can't do much when track view looses focus trust me

The only way to get full focus back is to click on the PRV or any vst or effect windows that are opened , this now puts the PRV window in front of the rewire or ve pro window and wallah full focus is back in the main play window
- at this point mouse clicking file -edit -view - are all aces sable again .
- all keyboard command also back fully

Hopefully someonemay have a solution

I was hoping that the track view could be undocked fully ? Believing this may solve this issue - But I can't work
Out how to undock And float it away from the file-edit-view main plat window . I will ask in another thread
