First, thanks for all the help I have received here.  I am looking to add track layers to a midi track but looking in the help file and searching this forum produced nothing (using the title of this post.)  So....I was watching a Cakewalk video about programming drums.  To add a layer to a midi track, the presenter expanded the midi track (which I did), then clicked on the keyboard which showed up in between the controls and data, which he followed by clicking on the "Show Layers" command.  When I do it, I get three choices:  Notes. 7Bit Values and Fit Content....but no "Show Layers" or other commands shown in the video.  So...... is it possible to add a layer to a midi track and what do I have to do to accomplish it?  Thanks in advance.

Which version of Sonar are you using ? Show layers was done away with back in Sonar X1 (or X2) I believe.
now its Comping mode.

you should see the comping mode widget in the track box.

Sorry, I am on a bunch of photography boards and the equipment, computer, OS is listed next to your name (assuming you filled it out.)  This is Sonar Platinum with the latest update.  I will look for comping.  It is confusing to watch videos etc., only to find out features are now gone.  Thanks for the help.
