Just a thought, "Since Tascam owns Cakewalk and you'all are competing nicely with the other Recording DAWS (in features) How about one-upping Native-Instruments with a full blown version of the GIGA-STUDIO INTEGRATED INTO a future version of SONAR DBL-PLATINUM.  You have to admit the V-sampler was a pain to use (the interface sucked) and wasn't very popular. I think that was the last time you included a  'much-needed' sampler in Sonar. The Giga Studio is/was the best sampler interface around and still could be. Sonar would be set on a new, fantastic, user level!
Thank You.
Sincerely,
Daniel Ade

I believe Garritan bought the rights to GigaStudio.

unfortunately Mr. Roseberry is correct. Garritan had promised an update to the Aria engine (co-developed with Plogue) that would read Giga Studio libraries as native, but it has yet to surface.

SONAR would benefit from a modern sampler/synth with robust sound design and manipulation capabilities; something to compete with Alchemy 2 in Logic, and to draw the attention and dollars of Falcon and Halion users.
