I've never signed up for it.... nor twitty  nor anything mass social media. I remember when it first came out and to me the whole concept sounded like a really bad idea. It took longer to implode than I thought though.

Yep, Facebook is the "legit" social connection to friends and family.  This is like playing under adult supervision.  
 
They go to the "other" platforms to get away from the parents and authoritarians.  
 
Nothing has imploded though. Facebook is just guilty of letting the wrong people exploit their data, like it was 4 years earlier.

True that. Everyone cheered when Obama used Facebook data for his campaign. But for me, the last drop was the Diamond and Silk case.
