I often record pretty low input, so when I show Take Lanes on a track, the waves are so small to be just thin lines. I re-scale them by dragging up on the little bar just to the left of the clip area. Problem is, if I did 20 takes, I have to re-scale 20 clips individually. Is there a way to re-scale all the takes in a track at once, or automatically make the waves bigger in the first place?

Not that I know of. But just out of curiosity, why are you recording at such a low level? You're throwing away bits of resolution and adding the potential for noise.

I guess I've never cared very much about it. It's easier than watching for clipping, and the resolution has never been a big issue that my ears could detect. I'm using a 25 year old condenser mic that I bought for $200. If you go here and poke around, this is how my vocals sound. I'm sure they could be better. Suggestions?

It seems to me that a good feature update would be to have all take lanes initially follow the scale of the parent track.
Then if individual adjustments are made to some but not all take lanes, they follow relative to those individual adjustments.

Agreed. It seems like changing the scale of the parent track with Take Lanes open should scale the lanes as well. 
 
...and calling me out for low output in my recordings is a dodge! Even if that were not an issue, there are many instances where the wave might need to be scaled.

No one is "calling you out," nor did I "dodge" the issue - I specifically said I didn't know a way to do it, then asked "But just out of curiosity, why are you recording at such a low level?" I thought someone needed to alert you that you're throwing away bit resolution, signal-to-noise ratio, and increasing distortion. Maintaining quality is a separate issue from how waveforms are viewed. I apologize if my comment was written ambiguously enough that it could be interpreted as offensive.

I knew what you meant Craig. Maybe the wording controversial or maybe it wasn't. Either way, seems an over reaction.

FWIW it is hard to see how good advice on gain structure 101 is an over reaction, but to each their own:)

Craig, I wasn't taking offense in the slightest. Couldn't you see the wry smile on my face? Of course my levels could be higher. Sorry to have inadvertently caused a little kerfuffle there.
