Yep - the button to click is actually called "Locate Key". Hit that, press F2 on the keyboard and...on mine, it says [Unassigned], but (now I think about it), it defaults to the Windows default where F2 means rename (so if you have a track or bus or soft synth (in synth rack) selected and press F2, it puts the track/bus/soft synth name field into edit mode.
Binding it to DO Nothing stops this behaviour (just checked).
Don't mean to be a pain but could you give me the steps you take as to what you do to bind a keyboard shortcut to nothing ......? Please
