Hi all, I have recorded midi tracks with Addictive Drums, but I can't figure out how to record those midi tracks into an audio track. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

You would have to bounce the MIDI tracks (to audio), to be able to access the audio files.
I usually use separate out (mono) from AD2 mono out from each AD2 drum, to be able to process the tracks individually.
Best of luck.

You can also use CAL script, split notes to tracks.

Or Freeze the tracks

I never used the Freeze method, but it worked perfectly, thanks!!!

OK, I did not realize that once I closed the file, I would no longer have the audio track from the frozen synth.  What I really need is to have the midi from the Addictive Drums changed into an audio file that I can keep as audio.  Again, any help here is appreciated.

thanks,

I agree with Zargg71, Bouncing the midi tracks to audio, I believe, is the best way. You can then be able to add FX to the drums when mixing.

Try it and see if it works for you,

File > Export, or go grab the .WAV file for the frozen synth track from the audio folder for the project (or Global audio folder if not using per-project audio folders).

Hey thanks! I didn't know you could do this. I almost always freeze AD2 or SSD Superior/EZDrummer when mixing.

I did try to bounce the tracks, it didn't work.  Now I am thinking that I make to midi tracks as a stereo file, maybe I didn't have the settings correct when trying to bounce because it did not work at all.  If I freeze the tracks, woyld I be able to just copy the audio track that was bounced and copy and paste it to a different audio track?  Might that work?
