....But if it does well, then I could justify taking the time to do more - like something about mastering in SONAR, or mixing techniques....

I also copied some of the tips into One Note, but didn't keep up since I'm too busy making music. Thanks for all your hard work. You are tireless! I just purchased it and put it into my Goodreader app.

When you finished with "Mastering or Mixing in Sonar", I'll be your first customer. Please autograph!

I did this on my own time because it didn't seem right to have Gibson pay me to do something for Cakewalk. I'm not taking any royalties, because that lowers the price and I wanted this to be affordable to the community.

Your generosity is one reason you're loved so much in the CW community Craig.
I just downloaded and it looks great!

Craig, if you're thinking of doing more, let me encourage that idea.

I've been using Cakewalk/SONAR since v1 for DOS, practically every day. But I never would have found some of these things.

Clicked the link in the OP, bought, downloaded, opened, immediately got 3,4,5 useful ideas from of the Inspector/Console View Synergy tip alone.  I think I'm going to like this.

Bought! Here's hoping: I will zoom through the text at lightning speed but read every word, every word will make sense, and all of that sense will remain, memorized and accessible with no effort whatsoever, in my brain. Well, I can hope, can't I?

I will admit that some of it is indeed fairly advanced. But take it a step at a time...

Also, please note that the Tip of the Week thread is not going away, it's just being "reset" so it can start over. If you have any questions, even about older tips, you can always pose them there.

Ha! I didn't think of that ... the author is right here just in case (in my case, the very likely case) there's something we don't quite get.

Thanks, Craig :)

Scored a copy. I also came here to give my gratitude to Craig Anderton for his endless patience and compassion when helping forum participants, and for bringing out the best in the Cakewalk community. He is like that popular kid in high school who got along with everybody, even the dorks.

All hail The Craig!

A very helpful book. Just after the first 30 pages or so, I've discovered widgets and gadgets that I have looked at for years but never really knew what they did. It is very easy to get locked into a routine of doing things one way but an e-book like this opens the door to so many other possibilities. Well written, as you would expect, to the point and no fluff.
