I've never had an update pushed to me. I believe it has something to do with my recurring "Can not find Squirrel" error message. First time I cracked up at the message and didn't read it in full. Just looked at it again, and the full message is as follows:

Note that the error is raised in a function named "AutoUpdater".
BTW, "
Squirrel" is an auto-updater utility similar to Microsoft's ClickOnce. The slogan, in fact, is "Squirrel: It's like ClickOnce but works". That was my clue as to why I was getting this error, which turned out to be a self-inflicted injury. I had renamed the updater from "update.exe" to "fu.exe" in order to defeat the auto-start feature. Turns out, update.exe is the main piece of Bandlab Assistant. It is the Squirel.
