I recently upgrade my computer and had to re-load all my Cakewalk purchased softwares.
Everything seems to have worked fine except Session Drummer.
When I call it up in my plug-ins I get the following message: THE FOLLOWING PLUG-IN FAILED TO LOAD.
I have Sonar X3 Producer. 
I was under the impression the Sonar X3 Producer included Session Drummer. Which I have on my previous computer.
 
Can anyone help?

X3 Producer includes Session Drummer 3 (probably renamed Session Drummer by the time of this release). Try running an advanced install to reinstall the plug-in.

Thank's scook, sorry for my ignorance.  but what is an " advanced install ". never heard the term or what it is all about.

A couple of screens into the X3 install is an option for basic/advanced install. Selecting advanced install proceeds to a checklist of components to install. This is how to pick one or more items to (re)install.

I have tried what the video shows and I still was not able to load Session drummer.
I even unloaded Sonar X3 and restarted from Zero. Everything  loads OK except Session drummer.
I was wondering if Windows 10 might have anything to do with my problem.
My laptop on which Sonar X3 was originally installed was on Windows 7. Everything operates fine there.
I still get the message " The following vst plug-in failed to load ".
What might I be doing wrong.
I would hate to have to unload and reload Sonar once again.....very time consuming.

Probably not a Win10 problem. There may be some MS libs missing, see http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013357/Session-Drummer-3-is-not-being-recognized-by-SONAR-X3
 
Forgot about this issue, it came up early in the X3 release cycle.
 

Thank you Scook  but I went  into the link and it seems that the download is no longer available from Microsoft.
I guess I am out of luck and if I want to use Session Drummer I must stick with my laptop and Windows 7.
