Monitors, unless in rotated 'portrait' mode, are scarce in vertical space.   Can we please eliminate the word "multidock" and that big horizontal space it takes?    It offends me every time it gets uncovered, though I usually try to waste additional valuable vertical screen space trying to cover it.

Absolutely. And the vertical "Browser" bar, too, please.
 
When I start a fresh project the browser bar is not there, so total removal clearly is possible.
 
Only when I hit "B" for the first time does it appear. And then I cannot get rid of it.

If you dock the Browser in the Multi-Dock then it will stay there instead of bothering you in the Track View.
