It would be nice if Sonar was a little bit smarter about ASIO IOs. I occasionally have to turn off ASIO tracks, but that then messes up the ASIO IOs I have assigned in my projects.
 
For example, if I have a NORMAL project defined as having 10 inputs and 6 outputs, create a project and save it, then turn off 6 of the inputs and 4 of my outputs, then reopen the project, Sonar reports that "The following tracks and busses are currently assigned to a silent hardware output..." yadda yadda. Can this be fixed? Can Sonar somehow determine which IOs are related to what device and know that if I turn off IOs 3, 4, 5, and 6, that I still want IOs 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, and 10?
 
And this should follow through to things like the internal metronome as well...
 
Thoughts? Is this even possible?
