Hello,
I am getting ready to install the Sonar platinum files and watched the command center video and just a little bit confused.
Does command center just download the files and I do the installing? Or does it do everything?  Read below why-I dont want it to be installed on my C drive on my PC.

With the command center can I specify where(disk drive) I want to put/install Sonar Platinum?
From watching the vidoe looks like I have no control where the command center places Sonar.

I have a Windows 10 PC and would like to put Cakewalk Sonar Platinum on my D Drive.  My C drive is a very small SSD drive and do not want Cakewalk put there or any big applications.

thank you for any info on this,
Dave

Open Command Center and specify your download folder AND ALSO check the box for "Verbose Installation."  With that option checked, you can specify most of the folder locations for the install, with further selections available in the SONAR menu under Edit>Preferences> File> Folder Locations.

I can't remember if you can actually choose an alternate location for the Sonar program install itself.  It may default to C:\Program Files\cakewalk -- I can't recall.  But Sonar itself is not that huge of an install if you put all the optional stuff on another drive. Even with both the 32- and 64-bit versions of SONAR, Native Instrument Complete 11 Platinum, EW Play, AD2, several AAS virtual instuments and about 300 other plug-ins installed, my 256 GB SSD Win10 OS Disk still reports "150 GB Free of 232 GB."

I also have a 256 GB SSD and install Sonar on my C drive. All my sample library's for Kontakt are on another drive.
You can also save a lot of space by deleting the Sonar installers after you have installed everything.
Command Centers download folder can get up there in size.
