Just gave the new limiter a spin. Damn, it's good. The final piece that makes SONAR a truly do-it-all package.
Ozone fans, don't despair; your solution still has tricks that Adaptive Limiter doesn't (at least for now) so you needn't regret the money you spent. But for those without Ozone, your envy level can now drop a few notches.
Pro-L users, of course, already know they can do no better and that still holds true. Even if you don't have the running LUFS value that AL offers.
But considering Adaptive Limiter holds its own among the best (that are available to me for comparison)
and is bundled with SONAR... that easily makes it the bargain of the year. Good job, guys!
One minor complaint: there does not appear to be a way to type in specific values for any parameters. It would be nice if double-clicking the Ceiling value would set focus to a textbox (like Ozone and Pro-L) instead of popping the value up to 0.0 dB.
