Try inserting Ozone on 10 tracks and buses just to see the MP3 preview and see what it does to your performance :)

Well, you're no doubt way more cleverer and technical than me Noel, but why would I want to preview the potential mp3 rendering of ten individual tracks and buses?

You gonna be okay? ;-)

This limiter is fab 👍 and it's free . I've just skimmed through the interface
and it has what's needed from a limiter .
Especially like that it has "match loudness input"and K metering capability .
Sounds transparent too .
Thank you , Cakewalk :-)

I guess this in some update I don't have access to as yet. I read about the lossy sound preview codecs. Used to have the one for Minidisc as well.

I opened this thread just after finding out first hand how cool the new Adaptive Limiter is, it's got quite a few surprises in it, especially for such a simple, straight forward plugin.  I like the nicely ordered presets, the "Match Input Loudness" feature for the bypass A/B switch, and the K and LUFS metering.   And yes, the Dither and MP3 (and artifacts) emulator is quite useful too.
I was expecting responses similar to mine, but forgot that every forum has it's......shall we say "detractors".
BTW, I own Ozone 7, and Noel is absolutely correct.  It sounds great but it's an intense memory hog.
With the new Adaptive Limiter, I can have it active on my master bus and still track new instruments, with no latency while playing.   If it was Ozone, I'd have to disable it first.

I love Ozone, it has been my "go-to" mastering suite.  But I tell you, if I throw in a (SPlat included) EQ, reverb, and perhaps some compression, I'll get results just as good as Ozone (with half the ram usage).   But I digress....Three Cheers to the Bakers for this excellent update.  The Limiter and Ripple Editing make me so happy that I purchased the Lifetime Subscription.
This update alone is almost worth the price of admission.

I haven't tried the pre-release yet and may have to wait for the full release, but this does sound very cool. Thank you, Cake bakers!
