Ive purchased Vocal Align this morning and for the first time with any plug, got real problems. I have it authorised in the  iLOK Licence Manager but upon loading Splat there was no sign of it. I couldn't find it anywhere on my pc either. After several hours of trying and at the last attempt, Splat saw it and opened up an Authorisation dialogue. I entered the number from the email I got, and although there were little green ticks to each box, it then said there had been too many attempts and that I need a new number. Now upon loading Splat its missing again.
Ive emailed support but no reply as yet. My PC did the new Windows Update yesterday and I'm wondering if that is fouling things up. Any ideas would be gratefully received, thanks!

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the VocAlign install/authorization.  I'm not a big fan of Ilok but I have to say I didn't have any issues during the install or authorization.  The first thing I did was to download and install the latest Ilok license Manager.  If you didn't do that you might want to start there.

Yeah did all that, thanks. Authorised it and everything, but even after downloading Vocal Align the only thing I can find on my pc is PDF manual, nothing else. Ive noticed also when it is installing the little dialogue that says how much space it will take up on the hard drive is 0kb! So Im waiting for the support to get back to me. Hope I havent wasted 95 quid.....thats definitely a deaf and dumb week from the wife!

You haven't wasted the money, it will work. You mentioned contacting support - I assume you mean Synchro Arts support, given that it's their product. They have the experience regarding installation and such.

Do you have the VST scan path pointing to the VST3 plugins folder?

I installed it but then I had to go, I have to admit the installer was a little puzzling, there really weren't any options to select drive or path...?

Thanks to all. It says in the Readme that it will load into the 'common vst 3 ' folder. I cannot find it anywhere, searcghing through all VST folders. All I have is the readme and the manual. Support have just answered my email, stating 'Looking at your iLOK account the code has been used to create a VocALign project license that is installed on your PC.'   Well thats helpful! He hasnt offered a new number which I will still need even if I find it. Never had any bother with my plugins on Splat like this before. Thanks again to everyone

Thanks Brando, I can see two VocALign VST3 files. I cant figure out why they dont show on the plug in manager or the 'quick sweep' when SPLAT is launched. Ive double checked the iLOK again, all is well there......getting a little closer I think.

Try running a VST reset from Preferences > File > VST Settings
You will likely be using the plug-in from the Region FX menu and not the plug-in list.
