Is there a way to mute/disble a node in either of these without deleting it?
Thanks!

Edit: The "Solved" answer is no for the LP-64 (older one first picture), but yes for the LP (Newer one).
and how to is ... when a node is selected (highlighted) click (off) the power button of the bottom left.

See page 15 of the L-Phase EQ manual Under "Filter band controls" for "Filter Band enable/disable"

Would love to, if I could find the manual. Can you tell me where it might be?
thanks

F1 in the plug-in UI when the plug-in has focus (like most Cakewalk plug-ins) or the gear in the upper left of the plug-in UI.

ok
moving on and maybe you can clarify this point for me also.

The lp 64, the older one is capable of a minimum Q of 20.0
But the newer LP EQ only seems to be capable of a minimum Q of 10.0

I'm not really seeing how the newer one is better for precision detailing compared to the older.
Do you have any thoughts on that?
Thank you.

I think you should put something like that in your signature.

For surgical cuts/boost, an LP EQ is probably not a good choice. I did a quick scan of the available videos at Cake TV and could not find anything. This FabFilter video offers a good explanation

I wonder how many units Cakewalk would sell if they got Dan Worrall to create some videos for them.

Why the non-linear precision setting does not offer a higher Q is a good question. For precision work consider using the QCEQ or Sonitus EQ.

If you really need a high-Q setting, use the Quadcurve (it goes up to 18) or the LP-64. However bear in mind that it's very difficult to hear the difference between a Q of 10 and 20, compared to say the difference between a Q of 5 and 10...especially given the limits that a high Q puts on gain.

Thanks Scook for the input.

Yea. The Quadcurve is really nice. I tend to use it for wide soft changes.
Too bad we can't stack 2 or 3 of them up on the master bus.

I'm finding the LP-64 to be really nice.
I guess I was just hoping the LP would be as functional.

Maybe the LP-64 might be updated to have the same type of interface as the Quad Curve and LP.
That would be a nice update.
