  • How to cut the song from the end?

My song is getting longer and longer... I do not see reason for it, but probably there are some hidden events, which makes the song to be longer that it must be as displayed in the Track view.

What is the best way in Sonar to erase this extra data, so the song ends and the end of the last clip or Midi event?

A couple people have reported that Ripple Edit (cutting that section on the timeline) does the job. If so, that would be great. "Cut Special" with "Delete Hole" didn't work all the time and when it didn't, you had to chase down what data you couldn't see.

Well, actually, the last time it has happened when I copied some parts of MIDI for my drums. I select a part, copy it to the buffer then go to the Marker I want to paste and just press Cntr V. It is very comfortable, but sometimes it brings some mess in the track and I don't know how to get rid of it...

PS I succeeded to cut the extra drums space with the Split tool, but still have some extra time for the song...
