I would like to freeze the track with my Hammond B4 VST to be able to apply the audio effect to it.
So, I pressed the Freeze button, the conversion was completed, the Synth is now in bracket and is not available, but the track is still in MIDI, so all audio effects are not available.
I did the same before with Modo Bass VST and it worked fine.
 
What could it be?
 
PS It looks like the problem is that I have 2 another tracks with the same synth...

Are you using a Simple Instrument Track?  If so, I think there's a way to convert it to separate MIDI and Audio tracks.  (I'm not really sure how that's done, but it's in there someplace.)  Having done that, you should be able to process to your heart's content.

Just right click on the track and pick Split Instrument Track.  I have no idea if that will help, but that's how you do it.

 Well, what I have done, I have deleted all old tracks with the synth itself and insert the new one to copy the data. Then I applied Freez option, but the audio effect did not work for some reason (available, but not working).


But then I figured out that I can apply Wave effects to the MIDI track of my Hammond VST. I do not know why, but it is possible now and I am happy! :)

If it's a simple instrument track you can apply audio f/x directly to the track, no need to freeze.

There is no need to freeze EVER unless your computer is SERIOUSLY struggling with raw horsepower.

If you right click on the freeze button, there should be an option to hide midi so you should just see the audio when you freeze. Also as Lynn said, you should just put the fx in the audio/simple instrument track fx bin. You only put fx in an audio clip when you want that effect in one clip within a track. And as Jonesey said, you only really need to freeze a track to free up computer resources.

Jyst an added thought...

Freezing has anither important use other than cpu cycles.

Its also an editable recording of the siund created fir archiving. Likely audio teacks will be able to be read in the future might be more lijely than gaving/using the pissibky ancient plugin to re-create?
