Tho the question is "what update?".  I updated SPLAT, WIN and Arturia V Collection all about the same time.
 
Curiously, everything else Arturia works like a hose. It is just that "Failed to insert soft synth.  the synth may not be properly installed"
 
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Mini (as well as the entire V collection or whatever that package is called).  
 
I am flummoxed.
