I realize that we all want different things from this publication. One thing I'd like to see is an article every month that focuses on the practical application of 1 Sonar feature. For example "Getting the most from your new XYZ limiter". I realize that Craig is doing this with his handy friday tips, but I think it would be great to roll out the practical application notes with new features as well.

I'm excited for this reboot and think it could fill a gap between the manual and a slick (expensive) instructional video. Some of us still like to read.

EDIT - It seems like Craig is already planning to do this fro Ripple Editing. Yea! Things are happening so fast I can't keep up.

I think that's a great idea. I actually had an article scheduled on Mix Recall, but bumped it to the 2017.06 or 2017.07 issue because the 2017.05 issue ended up being close to 60 pages. I figured that people should be able to finish reading the eZine before the next one comes out .

Oh and by the way, it has a name now - it's not just "the eZine," but Tech+Music because in addition to the SONAR update material, there are more features and reviews. I figure it's time to take advantage of 100% editorial control

Is there going to be a "readers wives" section? Seriously though, I'm looking forward to the new Tech+Music ezine!

Unless my impression of the age of the average reader here is way out, then I really hope not!

If Cakewalk's Helen Perry was featured in there, you'd change your mind pretty quickly. But there will be no reader's wives section.

Helen Perry has a wife ?

Now I'm interested.......

You'd better hope that she's not reading this though or your next visit to CW HQ is going to be......

AWKWARD!!

I'm sure that it will be well publicised when it's available.

I like this idea of the new / revised Tech + Music eZine containing one article per release that focuses on the practical usage of a particular feature or set of features.  Emphasis on practical (and mundane).

Craig kindly allowed us insight that he'll have 100% editorial control, which is fantastic!  We all greatly appreciate Craig, but I have to admit some of Craig's great tips can be on bleeding edge of the envelope in terms of everyday situations.

I think it would be fabulous if there was one article per eZine that kind of refreshed the main purpose for a feature, or walked through a kind of real scenario usage of the feature.  Yeah, the manual can do that.  Maybe a tutorial.  It would be nice to read about something not so bleeding edge.  Since I would be reading the eZine it would be a reminder about something I may not have freshened up on recently.  That feature might be an old one, or one introduced in the current monthly release.

My +1 to ampfixer's suggestion.
