Hi guys just wanted to let you know that this problem is solved.
Motu support let me try the new Beta firmware and driver that are coming out soon and all problems disappeared, even on usb 3.0 it works very stable with all the benefits.
For those who where in the same boat as me please just be a little bit more patience, it`s worth it.
I tried very hard to make it crash but nothing not a single crash, solid as a rock.
Just wanted to let you know as well that Motu support was with me all the time, thanks guys.

Peace

really glad to hear that

I was in the same boat last fall (different but rather unique problem) and MOTU support was really helpful, eventually fixing the issues with a driver update. So they listen to their users and it seems like they are in the process of ironing out the last remaining compatibility problems with the finite amount of windows hardware combinations.

I wish they would update the drivers for older devices so we can use USB 3.0.  I had to install a PCIe firewire card for my 896Mk3 Hybrid as my new DAW build only has USB 3.0 and 3.1 ports on the rear I/O panel.

FWIW ... patience may be needed for others as in my case it was about 2 months between providing the beta fix to me and going public with it. so I would assume there is a lot of testing behind the lines for potential side effects
