I'm running sonar pro.
I've ben using the compressor / gate option mostly for drums in my mixes along with the BT compressor cp2s for vocals mainly. Does anyone else think the compressor / gate option sounds a little gutless / doesn't quite give a great infusion of snap? I recently put it on vocals to try, then took if off and used the BT. Huge difference in overall sound....
What in-the-box compressors, effects do you guys like using the most and why, trying to learn a few different ways to go about a mix?
