Howdy
Wayne here
I had some clicking on a mixdowm file during playback, verify.
Seems to be related to the plug in balancing.
I m using 64 bit SONAR

Oh,
how cool.
The machine changed lower case SONAR to
Upper case, like automatic.

Anyway.
I was using z3ta+
Clicking on the mixdowm
Realtime I didn't notice clicking
And
Blue tubes delay,tempo delay specific
And another blue tubes plug in
Called analog phaser.
This is the first time trying blue tubes on a mixdowm
Clicking iccured near the end of a 5 minute file on playback tried all kinds of things to stop the clicking.
Like bounce buffer and changing latency size.
And moving plug ins from the track to a bus.
Nothing worked.
Then I unchecked that new feature.
Plug in load balancing.
Load balancing¿
Washing machine?
Kidding
Ni, for real I have to do a few loads is washing with a space bar of soap and water.
That can wait.
I'm trying to mixdowm these tracks.
And now I have done so.
That blue tubes worked.
Now,
I'm going to try z3ta+ again.
I'm sure z3ta+ is a single cpu core synth.
Using as as audio effect.
So, the new plug in load balancing feature.
Very cool.
Just be advised,if clicking is heard after listening to an exported file.
Most likely have to uncheck that checkmark under audio preferences, playback and record off the checkmark and clicking stopped here, on my project anyway.

Love and all

Still clicking with tempo delay.
Blue tubes nomads
Sounds really neat without the clicking
I'm trying Z3ta+ again now.
I give up on blue tubes,.
I zoomed in on the clicks one of many they our the mux, here and there.
The are a curve, about 4 pulses width on the positive 1st half cycle, then curves around n.a. k down over 10 or more puked at 192K.
A HI shelf shud help reducing them
Something to do with delayed repeating and mixing with previous waves.
Was a really cool sound tho.
Clean with 3 delay units,
I did get a clean mix earlier, but that too had some small clicks too
Crackle and click remover doest work removing them ,.
They're very fast dine waves ,
So,.
I has that blue tubes phaser on too with the moving inductor core or whatever that thing emulates , .
I'm trying z3ta+ with load balancing off NIW.

tried disabling the double-precision engine setting?

Load balancing only applies to the fix bin, not software synthesizers, so you're likely barking up the wrong tree suspecting load balancing as the cause of the clicks.

Unless the small increase in overall CPU usage that load balancing incurs were to push your system over the edge, resulting in buffer underruns or overflows (which often manifest themselves as clicks). But that would seem unlikely - check your CPU usage and see if the clicks go away when you increase your buffers.

operating System
CORRUPTED
I reinstalled windows from an image I made a few weeks ago and SONAR stopped clicking
It was getting worse and worse
Click in
Today I bounce clips to clip and they faded nicely
The operating system was so bad that none of the bounce to clip files I made today actually were written to disk
Very strange, I opened this same project on the corrupted operating system and it saved something
But whatever iwas saved was no good
Clicking all the time
Now those bounced to clip files disappeared
With install of restored image the files are not here.
When I tried bouncing with 853, SONAR reported unsuccessful
Internal error
So the whole c drive has been overwritten again
Operating system is on a 4 drive array raid0

I lost power to one of the drives a few days ago.
Something wrong with the contacts not mating properly.
The drives are on little trays with lite leaf springs that hold them in place.
I bent to leaf spring to improve contact with the drive connector,.
It is in an enclosure and can't see the contacts actually mating.
So,
I have an Intel log that reports any problems with every raid controller on the system and it hasn't started running openahgain since I bent the spring on the tray.
But,it could go out again.
It maybe a flaky drive.
Luck all the project audio is on another drive
And I only lost the clips I tried to bounce today.
I didn't need them anyway it was done only to see it it would stop the clicking and it did not stop and kept getting worse.
So I think it is all ok now.
I'm just cleani g up a few notes here and there now
Looks like z3ta+ And load leveling was not an issue after all.
Maybe I can bounce that tempo delay after I clean up a few marginal notes, here and there.
The moral of the story does not have
It was so corrupt moral did not exist.
