Can anyone faced such problem? Really annoying this issue. If there is an error in Sonar and it flew - that's all .. When you start it ( and anything in the ASIO driver it will be something like this or just be missing the driver to ASIO ) . There is a solution, but it is annoying . You need to disable the card ,then start the mixer window : to Detect audio problems and reach the end ... Then connect the map and all the rules will work ... the Second option is to restart the PC , well, it's so clear I think ... I searched old and different sound cards is such that miracles and solutions as such, no ... Actually I'm interested in one thing : how to spice up the map without pulling the wires from her other dances ? Actually may be worth something to run, then what? Any just anything, only what needs to be done - the question ...

This happens to me all the time with the Octa-Capture. Try switching to WASAPI driver mode.

I always play guitar and keys and it is important to low latency . I think there will be problems in this mode or am I wrong ?

WASAPI is better in Windows 10 only.

I am using WASAPI shared at 10 msec latency with 440 samples buffer size.  And that is with the on-board Realtek audio device on my mobo.

Works great in Sonar and a few other audio apps, but not all apps can see and use this enhanced mode.  If they cannot, they will default to the sluggish MME drivers ...

I have 2 of the Studio-Captures running synched together and have always had the same problem!!! I have not been able to find a fix and believe me, I have looked for almost 3 years now. It seems that Sonar or Windows 10 drops only the ASIO driver. The rest of the drivers still operate. My only fix this far has been to uninstall the driver. Sadly, to re-install you have to go online and let Windows install for you. Roland no longer supports the drivers. I guess they handed them over to Microsoft. If Microsoft ever drops support for the Capture series I am screwed!!!!
