I tried to follow the guide letter by letter but they just don't show up. I install the software using their own installer and then add the location to Music Creator 6 VST path. What am I doing wrong? So far I have tried the AmpliTube 3 and cakewalkafx2. I know nothing about these softwares so please explain every step rather than just saying something general. If you have an example of a free VST you have installed yourself I'll be happy to try that one too. Sorry for my language, English isn't my first language.

I am pretty sure Cakewalk FX2 are not VST plug-ins. They are DX plug-ins so the VST scan process does not matter. You need to make sure to run the installer as administrator and it may be necessary to run MC6 as administrator to use the plug-ins. Since they are DX plug-ins they will show up at the top of the plug-in list.

I do not have amplitube 3 but I am guessing you are working with the free Custom Shop version. Make sure that you have registered it and that it works correctly in stand alone mode. Then make sure that MC6 knows where the 32bit amplitube 3 VST plug-in is installed by adding the location to the VST scan path. The run the VST scanner.

Thanks for the reply. I did use the free custom shop version and I had registered it and I had added the location but I think there was a problem with the installation somewhere since now I re-installed it and it works. Thanks for the info about the FX2. I found it and it's not a VST and that was the reason I failed locate it before.
