Just installed 2017.04 today.  
 
I use screensets extensively to swap between different screen views.  The screenset I use for PRV is suddenly no longer dynamic, it only shows the last tracks as of when I saved the screenset.  This is happening regardless of TV tracks displayed, track manager, track filters, edit filters, screenset lock/unlock, PRV view settings, etc.
 
PRV only displays the correct tracks if I open it fresh from the menu, or ALT 3 shortcut.  This never happened prior to 2017.04

You should post this in Problem Reports.

Does indeed sound like a "slipped through the cracks" kind of thing, given how extensive the PRV changes were.
