  • 2 Track Folders Keep Revert to Default Colors and Hidden Buses Keep Un-hiding

Hi forum members,

A couple of things I've noticed occurring with the last update. 2 of my track folders have a specific color I use for them...purple for rhythm and green for bass. Now each project I open, they revert back to default colors. I again reset them, save the project and next time I open the same project, back to default. All the other folder's colors remain as I have selected them. It's no biggie, I'm just curious as to why. Do you think they may have become corrupted in some way? I've noticed this with other projects. I use a project as a template for future projects, so I typically save the current song under a new project name, delete the song and start with a new song. This way, I can use all my buses/FX/synths etc, without having to reload them.

The other thing...when I hide say, preview and metronome - and even another bus I'm not using for the current project, when I re-load the project, they're back. Again, no biggie, but I'm wondering as to why they keep coming back, once I've saved the project with them hidden?

Thanks

I noticed this with the track folders. The contents are keeping there colours, but the folders lose them.
I never hide busses, so haven't seen that.

I noticed it on a something I set at the weekend. I had re-set it last night, so checked when I saw your post. It had gone again.

You may want to check that you don't have a screenset or a lens saved that when you open the project it is getting applied and "un-hiding" your buses.

I've a lens set up for my meters...didn't know it un-hides what I've hidden. I didn't notice it doing that previous to this latest update. I check it out...thanks.

this issue is still happening. Anyone else experiencing it?

In mercury, you have both the coloured end marker, and it's the only theme to have the coloured strip.

I noticed that when I open the project, the folders loose their colours, but if I change themes, they return. Which is odd, as it's not a theme setting, its a project. So I tried several times, and changing the theme returns the colour.

When I set it to Mercury, closed and re-opened. It still looses the coloured end marker for the folder, but it keeps the strip colour for the folder. Changing to Tungsten, returns the folder end marker colour, and returning to Mercury, both end marker and strip colour work.

So it's not loosing the colour, it's just not applying it on opening.

So, Open int Tungsten, the folder strips are coloured, the end is not. The Track strips are coloured and so are the end markers.

Change Theme to Tungsten, and the end markers of the folders are now coloured.

Change back to Tungsten and the Markers are there.

Close the project and open this time in Tungsten, and the Folder end markers are gone again (until I change the theme)
