Thanks to AZ Controller and an amazing preset that was created for me, based on the 32 bit Sonar SI-24 Control Surface
MIDI driver, the SI-24 control surface works beautifully in the 64 bit version of Sonar Platinum! I have been using it for the last few days, with the audio working also, thanks to the MAudio, Windows 7-64 bit Delta 1010Lt Audio Drivers. For those who loved using this set up and would like to brush the dust off and continue using it in 64 bit Platinum, here are the links you need to get started.

MAudio Delta _6_0_8 64 Bit Audio Card Drivers
Note 1: Windows will tell you this is not the right driver,
but in fact it is.... ignore driver warning. this driver install does contains
the Roland RBus drivers needed for the RPC-1 card and will work.
I have used the Delta 1010Lt driver to run the RPC-1 card
in both Windows 10 and Windows 7-both 64 Bit.
Note 2: No MIDI will pass through the RBus card, so set the
SI-24 control surface to "MIDI cntl" and connect SI-24 to
computer using a MIDI to USB cable.

select Legacy-Delta 1010Lt-Windows 7 (64 Bit), or SP1, whichever you need.

For anyone who is interested, Enjoy.

Thanks for these informations.
I managed to run the audio under windows 10 with this version of driver and it' ok  :)
However, I followed the instructions to install the files of the SI-24 but the commands do not work.
The youtube video is not specific to the SI-24, so maybe I missed something !!!
:(

If you explain at which point you have problems, may be I can help. I mean in the sequence:
* installing AZ Controller
* downloading the preset and installing it using Cakewalk Plug-in manager
* instantiating AZ Controller and selecting the preset

Hi Alexey,
I think I have correctly installed all the things needed for operation. All the elements are present in Sonar but the actions made with the SI-24 do not act, unfortunately.
Maybe this part (In Sonar Preferences / Control Surfaces add "AZ Controller" with both Input and Output set to your SI-24) is not correct, I can only select the midi ports as indicated !!!

I think I found the problem
In fact, in the original driver of the RPC1 card, when the driver information window is opened, there is a property tab which allows to activate the use of the midi interface of the card, which is not the case in the M-Audio driver only compatible with 7 and 10, and I have not found a way to access this setting !!!

Michayl, You use in real hardware how did you do?
Since I do not have a midi port available?

Sorry, with that I can not help. Before AZ Controller start working, it should "see" messages from SI-24 (when you turn/move/press anything, you should see the messages in the  "Last MIDI Event", where there is "(None)" currently. Since I do not have the device, I do not know how to achieve that.

"Active, 0 client" is not relevant, that is for OSC communications only (apps for tablets/phones).

I think I have found the answer in the original post

Note 2: No MIDI will pass through the RBus card, so set the
SI-24 control surface to "MIDI cntl" and connect SI-24 to
computer using a MIDI to USB cable.

So you should connect SI-24 with computer using separate MIDI to USB cable. So that does not work throw RPC card.

Yes I know this point using M Audio driver with 64 bits OS but maybe Michayl found a way to activate midi.
He said 'fully compatible' but no precision with using an external usb midi interface or not !!!
The RPC 1 and SI-24 using XP 32 and Sonar 8.5 are ok and midi message pass through the R Bus but unfortunatly Roland never upgrade the driver :(
