I am about 70 measures into my recording and I have several TTS1 keyboard recordings. also some ez drummer recordings using my midi controller. I decided to record some guitar tracks and every thing was going good. Now I went back to my TTS-1 to record some new midi tracks and it wont register. I press the R to record and nothing. Same with the Ez drummer. before I would let it load and press the R and bam I could make drum sounds and record them and now nothing. It worked fine before. Here is the weird thing. I can insert a new TTS-1 and press the R and it makes the keyboard sounds that I choose and same with opening a new ez drummer soft synth. works fine. I dont want to do that though. I want to add more recordings to the midi tracks I already have 70 measures recorded on.
Any possible suggestions would be great. I just dont want to start over after several hours.

I'm not sure I fully see the picture, but if I understand correctly, these popped in my mind:
-Make sure you don't have locked clips (I'm not sure if locking only locks the position or recording as well)
-Check the record mode: Sound on Sound or Replace
-Check if Punch In recording is on or not and where's the Punch In -point
 

I seem to recall something similar when working with TTS in the past, especially if it was set up using several of the channels in it's multi timbral mode.
 
It would play the sounds of the last thing I worked on.... and when I wanted to change from one sound to the next, say from piano to bass, I had to select the new sound by clicking on the midi track for that sound. It needed to be highlighted. Then it would play that sound.

ok, I   messed around with it for like a half hour and something told me to recheck my midi devices input and outputs. I reset it to the right ones and it works again. weird thing is I never changed them.  oh well. back in business, :)
 

IIRC, when I worked with TTS in a multi-timbral setup, I would go into the midi tracks and set the inputs to NONE when I was finished working on them. That way, they would not "hear" the midi data on the midi bus and could only use the data stream from the track it was supposed to be listening to.
 
As I needed to work on a specific track I would set the midi input to the channel my keyboard controller was transmitting on so I could hear what I was doing.  When I finished, I turned it off by setting the inputs back to NONE
 
I always used channel 6 as opposed to OMNI.  Just a random choice of channel number.
