Hi,
I've been using Cakewalk/Sonar for a LONG time (since Cakewalk for DOS2.0 in the 80's). I searched the forum for this issue but didn't find any answers.
I stayed on Sonar 8.5.3 for several years because it was working well for me. Last year I decided to take advantage of the lifetime free upgrades for Platinum and have slowly started migrating over to Platinum. But it is giving me a lot of frustration trying to get the audio snap to zero function working. It is a tool that I use very often for comp tracking.
I'm currently needing to zoom all the way into a wave to manually find the zero crossings since the snap is not working. I think I've tried pretty much every option available in the snap settings and sometimes it actually works, but most of the time it doesn't and I haven't found the recipe to keep it working.
I'm hoping there is a known method to make the snap to zero function properly and reliably because I can't keep working inefficiently like this and would have to switch to another tool after all of these years. Is this a common problem for post 8.5.3 versions of Sonar? Does anyone know how to make it work?
