Ya, I just figured it could provide a lot of interesting mix options. 'Cause they do sound pretty crazy in the wild (as Geoff) noted. I could just see a convenient path to level automating betwixt the condensers and dynamic when the orchestration calls for it (essentially a"get out of the way/shine NOW option) or a sweet "wah" effect betwixt the two close pairs.
Or even crazy tape speed style modulation/phasing.
I tend to get a little over excited thinking about such things though.
