Considering they didn't at first include the MP3 encoder, due to cost analysis, but then included after user donated a thank you. The cost of this license to improve on an existing option says  lot to me about the commitment to improve, as well as fix.

The reason they started including the MP3 encoder was because the patent ran out and they no longer had to pay royalties to include it.

Not sure the situation on this one. But adding better tech is appreciated.

I think you have this confused with pow-r dither. Mp3 was included with with the initial release of CbB; pow-r was not. See http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3746538

I have a dream... I take my mouse, right click audio clip and set pitch to (for example) +3 and it becomes +3 without any rendering. And I'm wondering... Is this possible with élastique? 🤔
