Hey All,
Amazon Warehouse Deals was (and still is) advertising a "damaged packaging" version of Sonar Pro at a discount. Thought it might be a good way to save a few bucks as I figured I'd still have to download the latest version of the software.
Well, package arrived, and there was indeed a Download/Activation card inside the box, but when I went to register the product I got a message that the redemption code had already been used.
Needless to say I was not happy. I suppose in the back of my mind I kind of suspected this might occur (someone returned the boxed software to Amazon but already used the Activation code) - though I also thought opened software was not returnable - so who knows?
I'm sure Amazon will make good on this - but in the meantime, if there's anyone here from Cakewalk support who can help me out (or if anyone knows who to contact about this matter) - please let me know.
And for everyone else - I would avoid buying any software from Amazon Warehouse Deals.
