All of a sudden today, when I open Rapture session, I get the below dialog box message :

Is anyone else experiencing this or has experienced it in the past ?

Sonar project that has rapture session also does not open. Do I have to really "destroy" Rapture Session ? I thought its a permanent VSTi that was made available to Platinum users.

Please help ! Thanks in advance.

Is is possible you installed the Early Access release in January and forgot to install the final production release in February. The current version is 2.0.5.81.

Oh yes. Good point there Steve. Thanks for highlighting this.

I have the 2.0.5.77 version of Rapture Session which I downloaded as part of the 2017.01 update. I guess that's what its all about.

Its just that I go by the knowledge base article for what needs to be downloaded and updated every month. Somehow CW missed out on mentioning for the 2017.02 update that Rapture Session needs to be updated too.
Hence, I missed it out. Rapture Session enhancements were indicated and mentioned for download in the 2017.01 update though (the 2.0.5.77 version).

So I'll need to update to 2.0.5.81 and hope that the error is rectified. Fingers crossed as many of my projects have Rapture Session and currently refuse to open and Sonar sort of crashes as well. Eeeks...

Thanks once again.

Although Rapture Session is bundled with SONAR; it is also separately available and its release schedule may not coincide with SONAR. There is a KB article about the Rapture Pro/Session 2.0.5 release (the body of the kb article refers to 2.0.4, the title gets the version number right) http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2016000055/Rapture-Pro-Session-2-0-5-Update. I just notice the problem being reported is mentioned in the kb article. I had not read the kb article prior to posting yesterday.
