I know, I should have updated my Sonar - but Sonar 3 has always worked, so I just left it.

I installed Windows 10 today and every time I try to run Sonar - my PC crashes. I was able to get it to play one song - but when I tried a second song - it crashed.

I appreciate any thoughts.

OK - I can now get a project file to play back - but can't record.

You're talking about a version (2003) that predates or just coincides with the release of XP, and predates vista by a few years. I get that it has probably worked fine in subsequent Windows installs/DAW upgrades. But - it's (past) time to move on, imo. Even if you could get SONAR S3 to run in compatibility mode - why? Even SONAR Artist or Home Studio would be an improvement under Windows 10, allowing you to run in 64 bit mode and better use the features of your hardware. Best of luck

You're right Brando - thanks. I got an e-mail from Cakewalk - Sonar 3 is not compatible with Windows 10.
