Here's the situation. I have two laptops. One on laptop i have W7 os and the other is on W10 os. When I updated to the last sonar update (2 updates ago) my motu midi drivers on the w10 laptop stopped showing in sonar.  I did all the obvious solutions - replacing the moto drivers with the latest, rebooting, etc.
I finally sent a request to the sonar website and they suggested rolling back the update. That solved the problem. But does that mean I can not use any future updates? I just uploaded the  current update the same problem is happening. While my W7 laptop has current updates and the midi drivers are fine. I sent a request to motu to see if they have heard anything about this problem from other motu users. Any suggestions?

Are you talking about the MOTU MIDI Express 128?  If so then that would be a show stopper for me.

ALSO: I have been reviewing some related posts to my problem.  I looked at the midi driver listed by sonar. It should be UWP or MME. I noticed that mine is set at UWP and grayed out so I can not choose MME. That might be a problem. Any suggestions?

OK. I found out the problem The new midi driver format that sonar came out with (UWP) was hanging up the midi drivers from loading. So I just need to change back to the old MME driver. RIGHT. After many tries to change the driver to MME. I found out that you need to be out of any file before you try to move from UWP to MME.
So now I am back to a full functioning sonar.
Man that was stressful!
