Hi guys,

I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong with music creator 6.

I am using the Pod Farm VST with my guitar plugged directly in to a line 6 gx which goes straight into my PC via USB.

I have used my line 6 gx to record in primitive recording apps (audacity) but I'd like to get started on learning how to use a DAW effectively. I've dabbled a bit with Cubase but the deal on steam with Music Creator 6 seemed to good to pass up. I use the ASIO GX driver click apply and all the settings appear to be retained.

I've follow the instruction guide on how to set up MC6 with an interface and I've imported the pod farm VST and applied the pod farm vst to my audio track. The application doesn't seem to be picking up any sound (I'd expect the mixer levels to increase from nothing as I play). I can then start Pod Farm independently and verify that the GX is in fact receiving guitar signal (i.e. I can hear something) and I can record to a primitive recording application.

I have tried both Send 1 and Send 3 channels.

Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks
Ali

Welcome to the forum!
Does the level meter of the track move as you play?
Do you have Input Echo on?

Hello thanks for the response

Input Echo? Well I don't recall turning it on but I'll double check.

The level meter of the track does not appear to move at all.
