Let me know if you need anything.

I am not sure we understand each other at the moment...
In the link there are instructions how to check that I can control the display of XTouch. I can not check that myself,
but you can.
Once we find at least one method which works (probably hardware MIDI), we should check either it works throw USB and/or MIDI over network. And in which modes (Xctl only or also in Xctl+MCU).
Depending from the results, we can then plan which route to take: modify MackieControl plug-in or AZ Controller preset for Mackie.

Nothing to do.
Unable to connect on the X-Touch.
Plugin ok
Preset uploaded.
Test Through USB and Network.

Mode MC is running under Network midi Slave side X-Touch. No problem.
I've unloaded the MC device and select only your driver... No way.

Fore the test:
a) XTouch should be in "XCtl" mode, better pure, so without MC (so MackieControl should NOT work)
b) initial test should be done with XTouch connected throw MIDI cables, not with USB.

That are not my limitations...
Behringer has implemented that protocol for own digital mixers, so we in fact try to "trick" it presenting Sonar+AZ Controller as X-Air mixer. If I understand RE documentation correctly, the author has tried to understand network communications between X-Touch and X-Air, but gave up and switched to hardware MIDI only.

I make a test with MC and X-Touch linked through USB->MIDI cable, it works.
So my adpator is good.

If something can go wrong, it will go wrong. I do not remember who was the first with such pessimistic statement

With USB-MIDI cable and Xctl mode, open AZ Controller interface:
1. without touching anything on XTouch. Do you see something in the "Last MIDI event" ?
2. If yes, what exactly?
3. If no, in the Overview Tab, do you see "Device(Online)"?

According to the documentation, XTouch should send "ping". But it is unclear either it does that only after correct "Hello" is received or always.

The usb midi adaptor is blinking about every 2". It looks like a ping indeed.
I'll give you a screenshot of the AZ controler in a few minutes.
