@jamesg1213 - Thanks James! Not as meaty as most of your work, but I'm glad it was able to gain your interest.

Sit back, relax and let your mind travel. Love the bluesy guitar.   A+

Love this track, nice separation of instruments in the mix and good stereo width. Just pressing play again :)

@bjornpdx - Thanks for the kind comments Bjorn. I'm no guitar virtuoso, but I have fun playing, and I love to do bluesy improv.

@biodiode - Thanks Adrian! I do try to create some space in my mixes by panning most instruments, each to a unique space on the virtual stage.

Sounds real good. Would like to have heard more guitar. Turn it up!

Love it.  Wouldn't change a thing, except maybe more guitar like Wayfarer said.  I wish I could get my mixes that pristine.

@wayfarer - Thanks for the encouragement! Spoken like a true guitar guy. :) But for this song, we're going for a more laid back groove.

@Makke - Thank you for listening and your comments. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

@cwestmont - Much appreciated! As far as mixing goes, I try to help individual tracks stand apart from each other by making them unique in various ways, including EQ, pan, wet/dry FX, and just plain old muting of tracks in different places throughout the song. I think of "space" as a precious commodity to be conserved when mixing. It's easy to add new ideas to a music production in development. It's harder to subtract from what you've added, and requires a bit of ruthlessness. ;) But I've made it a part of my mixing process, and I think it really helps to give clarity to the final mix, and forces me to make choices about which melodies and rhythms will carry the song at every point along the timeline.

Like I said, you have a good ear Walt. The mix and sound quality is top notch, and I can dig the feeling in your guitar playing, so you are not so shabby in that area as well. Although I don't know what part Paul played in all of this, the same credit given, as this sounded good all over.
