Hi everyone, I recently received an advertisement for Stylus RMX which appears to use RMX loop files. Looks like a great program. I however have purchased over the years a huge library of Acid wav loops as well as regular wav loops. My question is would any of my loops work in stylus RMX? Unfortunately I couldn't ask then directly because it appears their another company that hides behind there website.

I'm pretty sure that Stylus can use RMX files without issue.

Their website is https://www.spectrasonics.net/

Have you looked there?

You would have to do two translations--

First, you would need to convert your acidized .Wav files into Rex2 files. An application like ReCycle can help you do that.

Second, you need to use the S.A.G.E. application that comes with Stylus RMX to import the Rex2 files into RMX. Also, you have to follow their directory structure when you do that second step.

It's sounds like a bit of a chore. However, I have found some Rex2 libraries that imported into Stylus pretty easily and have a pretty good library at this point.

What keith said.  Easy but slightly time consuming.

I can't think of any advantage to Stylus-izing your acidized wave files.

Well...you would of course benefit from all the RMX goodness when you were finished but I have to admit I don't know if I would feel the effort was worth it.

Now, if you got hold of a massive Rex library like Zero-G's Total Rex, then the import into Stylus is easier and absolutely worth it.

If I were starting with Acidized Wave files, however, I'd be more likely to pull them into Geist 2.
