Thanks for the replies. was looking at east west quantum leap choirs/East West Symphonic Choirs, this would be what I want because it has syria and india vocals and you can build your own words. I need a bit more than just ooohs and ahhs if possible, I will not be using instruments, just vocals. But.. the reviews are terrible. so don't know if I can trust $299 for this. I am willing to spend for more, maybe up to $500 if it is worth it. I have sonar platinum so will check out dim pro also, but need those voices.
Thanks again, salsa

No you mean EW Voices of Passion. I have the choir which does let you build phrases and combine 3 mic positions & using a SSL effects in the mixer section.

Soundwise
IK's SampleTank 3 and Miroslav Philharmonic 1&2 have some nice vocal samples. MP Choir sounds have different articulations ans KS patches.

If I remember correctly it also has solfege scale articulation and sounds in a couple of dynamics.

Before you buy anything you should check out Virtual Playing Orchestra 2 for free.  It works with the free Plogue sforzando (based on the ARIA engine used by Garritan).  Just because it's free doesn't mean it sucks.

This was compiled from freely available samples, and obviously took many hours of effort to achieve.  It doesn't have the many various articulations available in the expensive commercial sample libraries, but the sound quality is excellent.

It has choir, female, male, and mixed, covering several octaves ...

In the past I reprogrammed samples like this by placing different dynamics in alternative zones and key ranges

Wordbuilder once you get used to it

I have symphony of voices in kontakt format too.

I am a terrible singer, but have gotten better results than using samples by singing myself.  I sing 3 versions of each note and pitch correct with melodyne(heavily, I might add).   I dloaded this free MAutopitch app from Melda Productions...get it here:
https://www.meldaproduction.com/MFreeEffectsBundle

I use the "Format" control to change the timber of each note so none of the notes sound like me.  Some sound like women...the higher the pitch, the more I try to go up to the women sound.  The lower the note the more I go lower with the format setting giving it a huskier man's voice.

You get better results doing it this way 'cause when you change from Ohh to oooh to ahh or whatever, it sounds much more natural,  and you have the ability to use any syllable you'd like.  Throw all the vocal takes on to their own bus, add a ton of compression, some reverb, and you can have any size choir singing any vowels.  Much better than some sample library thingy that sounds out of place in your mix

Try It!  It takes some time, especially the 1st time you try.  You'll be much happier.

by the way...the best vocal samples come out of Spectronics' Omnisphere.
