  • Communication from Cakewalk Stopped

My emails have stopped again. Support is unable to address the issue. I followed everything they asked me to do to no avail. cakewalk.com is in my white list. The emails are not in my spam/junk e-mail folder. I private messaged Lance. I do business with many other companies in the music industry not one have I had to contact about not receiving emails. I don't want to say how many times this has happen in the past 17 years. I think this issue could have been addressed by now. I know companies change and people change within those companies but this issue has been ongoing for a long time.

We won't know if we can help until you tell us what's happening - what is the problem rabeach? Is it just that you are not getting emails?

Yep, emails from cakewalk have stopped. That is it. I'm happy with everything else. Just would like to receive emails so I will be notified when a new version is out.

When you open Sonar the Start Screen displays a notifications when a new version is available. There will also be a post on the forum about the release along with the changes that are contained in it. 
 
I've not had an email about a new version for a long time so I am not sure they send them.

Unfortunately only Cakewalk can help you with that. I haven't seen a Cakewalk email in quite a while either!

I don't get emails anymore either. Don't they keep us updated here anyway?
 
I check in at least a few times a week just to see what they are up to.

Hmm, well, I still get them every month. So they definitely are still sending them out.

This thread should probably be moved to the appropriate place where cake staff can address the issue.
Sorry to hear about this man. Funny there's another thread recently complaining about too many emails from cakewalk .
