When you open Sonar the Start Screen displays a notifications when a new version is available. There will also be a post on the forum about the release along with the changes that are contained in it. 
 
I've not had an email about a new version for a long time so I am not sure they send them.

This thread should probably be moved to the appropriate place where cake staff can address the issue.
Sorry to hear about this man. Funny there's another thread recently complaining about too many emails from cakewalk .

Same thing here.  I checked the dates.  It is about 6 or more months since the last one.

Got an email! Cakewalk support helped me out I had to use my Faculty email address but at least I received and email.

I got my email for the recent update release just fine!  Make sure your company spam filter isn't dealing with them innappropriately.
