Not when you consider those with Platinum already have the plugs. They're probably trying to make them marketable to a larger audience.

Is it not strange that Cakewalk would demonstrate new software plugins on a competitors DAW instead of their own?

Hey,

I thought the same thing when I stumbled across it last evening.  It did look a little bit like Sonar with the Inspector looking thing on the left.

Rsmcguitar,
You are probably right. I had not thought about that. What would really have been cool, is if they had demonstrated on the new MAC version of Sonar.

Uhhhhh  Question if you don't mind?

What DAW are you using shown in C3 as a video tutorial for the P EQ and LP MB?   That's not Sonar or any other  Cakewalk software I've seen before??

(Just Asking)

Thats funny, I noticed that as well

The LPEQ mutes some of my midi notes when set on medium or high precision.

Hey Folks,

We recently updated the LP EQ and LP MB previously available in the Engineering suite to standalone products. The branding of these have been slightly adjusted as well and are now called the L-Phase Equalizer and L-Phase Multiband. These will replace the previous versions and will continue to load in older projects that used the original versions. For SONAR customers who have an active memberships they will be receiving these into their accounts as new products. This process can take several hours and all active SONAR customers should see these in C3 within the next 24hrs.

In C3 I have red dots next to these plugs and when I click on each on the right (I believe it was) it says "Demo".  So when you say customers with an "active account" get these as new products does that mean lifetime subscription?  And should it say Demo?
